Happy Easter

This year for Easter we went down to my parent's house in Utah. It was a lot of fun and really nice to see everyone. We had a nice dinner and enjoyed a Easter Egg Hunt for the little kids as well as one for the older kids (by kids I mean adults). Bryson really enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt and picked up on it real fast, although he may continue to look in the grass for eggs for the next little while.

Spring Break

The past 3-4 years Chase's family has gone down to St. George Utah for spring break and this was our first time being able to go with them. We were not able to stay for the entire time, but we were able to go for a good part of it. The weather was not quit as warm as I would have liked it to be, but atleast it didn't snow like it did in Pocatello. We spent some time just hanging around, playing games, as well as enjoying each others company. From Saturday to Sunday a good part of the time Basketball consumed everyone's time. Everyone was rooting for the team they needed to win for their march madness bracket. This year we did a competion with the family. Everyone put two dollars into the pot and filled out a bracket. The winner will take the money and pick a treat to share with everyone (look at what high rollers we are.) Monday we went to the temple, and Kara stayed back to watch Bryson for us. Us girls (Stasie, Ashley, Aimee, Kara, and I) went shopping later on that afternoon while the men stayed back and played on there computers and watched Bryson. On Tuesday Chase went golfing with some friends and the rest of us went for a hike in Snow Canyon. It was a lot of fun and I got to try my new backpack to carry Bryson in. Bryson really enjoyed himself and loves to be outside. On Wednesday we played a little basketball and took Bryson to an indoor pool since it was to cold to go swiming outside at the condos. Steven, Chase, Ryan, and Kara went golfing and met up with us at the pool later on. Bryson hated the pool at first. We think it was due to the lifejacket he had to wear. After we took the lifejacket off, he came to love it in no time and really enjoyed himeslf.
We then got up early Thursday morning and drove back home. It was a real fun trip and it was great to get away and spend time with family.

All dressed up

Chase's sister Aimee got married to Ryan Whitworth at the end of December. They then went on their honeymoon and had there reception a little over a week later. The reception turned out very nicely thanks to Chase's mom and sisters who had some help from some friends. They did a wonderful job(maybe they should start their own business, just a thought.) To help support this new couple we got all dressed up and attended the reception. Bryson was sporting his new outfit that I had bought for him while we were down visiting my parents for christmas, and he looked so cute all dress up. I was wearing a new dress that Chase's mom had bought (and I love it.) Chase was all decked out in his suit and tie (he looked dang good like always.) By the end of the reception we were all ready to call it a night. I had reached the end. All night I was either trying to keep Bryson from helping take down the decorations a little to early or keep track of who had Bryson. Bryson had so much energy and I was in the need of energy. Maybe I should of had 3 cinnamon rolls like he did. The cinnamon rolls were not given to him by me, but by others because he would say "please" and every body fell into his trap. He went around to anybody who would pay attention to him and say please and then they would say "oh how cute, he said please," and give him some of there cinnamon roll. Needless to say he knows how it works.

The New Year

I can't believe how quicly 2010 went by and what a year it was. A lot happened in 2010. My sister Katrice came home from her mission, my family took a family trip to Haiwaii (how I wish I was still there sometimes,) Chase and I both changed employers, Chase's little sister got married, our little boy turned 1 among other things (such as learning to walk while we were in Hawaii);we found out we were moving to Boise and then two weeks later found out that we didn't have to move to Boise, and these are just a few of the unforgettable things of 2010.

It's that time of year again, when we make our resolutions for the next year. Chase is not much of a resolution guy but I am one who gets into it and tries to keep up with them. For this next year Chase, Bryson, and I have all made some resolutions (Bryson resolutions I guess you could call mine and Chases resolutions or wish full thinking). A few of our resolutions are as follows
1. Spending more quality time together as a family.
2. Chase says he is going to shave more often.
3. I am working on getting dressed up more often (trying to cut back on my sweatshirts and sweats attire.)
4. Bryson is working on getting rid of the pacifier as well as getting potty trained.
5. I am also making a resolution to keep up on this blog a little bit better than I have.
These are just a few of our resolutions for the year 2011.

New Appliances

This is an old post that I started at the end of July and I know it is now October but I already started it so I figured I should finish it.

Oh can I tell you all how excited I have been for the past week. A lady I work with is moving and has an oven, refrigerator, and a dishwasher that she is selling. So I talked with Chase and we decided that we were going to but them. I was now going to have appliances that matched and worked. then came our first problem how were we going to get them? Chase and I only have two little cars. Problem number 2 if we found a car to transport the appliance we still had to find the time to go out and get them since the appliance were out in Malad about a 25 min drive. I got to talking to another lady that I work with and she was also buying some stuff and they said they could pick up our appliances when they went out to get there stuff( hallelujah). This past Wednesday night they brought my new appliances. Then came the next problem when are they going to get installed so I can use them. Chase got sick the night they brought my appliances over and now I was left with a maze of a kitchen and an oven in my family room( and I am pretty sure it is not going to work in there)

It took about a week after I wrote about my appliances that they were installed in there proper places and I was able to use them and my kitchen was put back together.

I've been told over and over by different people to get a blog. So here I am blogging and not sure what to blog about. What do people who know us want to hear about? I could tell you about my little boy Bryson who is now starting to crawl and we are having to baby proof our house or I could talk about the jungle in my back yard that my husband Chase is in the mist of trying to tame and we are working on having a nice yard for us to hang out in, or I could talk about the tennis team I am playing on and I am now realizing why I haven't played tennis in the past 5 yrs ( i get to competitive). I don't know but I guess I will work on trying to get an interesting life so I can entertain those who want to read about what the Wadsworths are up to.
